Cant Open Eagle Brd and Sch files done in new Eagle in Older versions

That should not be a problem. (Besides use the 6.0.3 beta). Maybe you

should mention what pc and software you use, so that cadsoft can provide

better help.

I am using eagle 6.1 and using windows 7 as OS, but i cant open my board files and schematic in another computer installed with eagle 5.1 and running windows xp on it.

It shows invalid input file-- wen trying to open the brd or sch files. please provide me some solutions to handle this problem

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but I think the OP was asking how to open 

6.x version schematics/boards with Eagle 5.x or older. That cannot be 

done, different file structure.

Besides, you probably meant: 'use the 6.1.3 beta'?

Well he said USING v6 and can not open OLDER which should not be a

problem. I do it every day. But you are right, it should read

6.1.3 beta

I think Richard was right. This is what the OP said:

So he's trying to open v6 files in EAGLE v5.
