How to use new Layers in every Project?

Hello

I am using a couple of selfdefined layers in my project. Everytime I open a new project I have to define those layers again. Is there a way to save those layers and use them as a default everytime I start a new project?

The layers are stored in the board or schematic file directly? Could you
please check your eagle.scr file? Maybe there is a SET USED_LAYERS
command that hides these layers again....
