Version 6.2 does not function on windows 7

When I upgraded from ver 5.11 to 6.2 the new version does not function. I kept 5.11 on the machine and it works perfectly. Click the 5.11 and it opens after a few seconds and load and edits projects. Click the 6.2 installation and it finally opens after about 2 minutes and then stalls when I try to load a project. The direcotry setting are identical and I tried moving the project from my server to the machine that is hosting 6.2 with no improvement. Any ideas? The installation is on a Dell 620, 64 bit machine.

I am running 6.2 on a Win7 64 bit machine....so far without
difficulties. You may want to be sure that the libraries referenced in
your 6.2 setup are the 6.2 lbrs and not the 5.11 lbrs. From what
others have posted it seems that 6.2 lbr format is not backward
compatible with earlier versions.
