I have a circuit board that I am trying to use the autorouter on, however I am having some problems that I haven't run into before. The board is a large 4 digit seven segment display, with each segment being made up from a series string of surface mount LEDs. 7 of these strings are combined into a part (named SMT_DIGIT), so that the final board has 4 digits. My problem arises when trying to autoroute. The router will place traces crossing the wires which connect the series LEDs within the part. Any suggestions? It seems like in previous versions of eagle, the autorouter wouldn't allow a trace to cross a wire within a part - because it does give me DRC errors after the autorouter has finished.
