Thermals Dimensions

I do some unorthodox design using Eagle. I have always had problems controlling the dimensions (width) of my 'Thermals' when I generate a ratsnest/ground plane polygon. I believe it has something to do with the percentage to 'drill' size but could be wrong there. I've tried altering all DRC parameters but to no avail. Something is governing the Thermals to a certain width. Is there a way to dictate their widths? Thanks, Keith

    From help in v4.16

     

    Thermal Dimensions

     

    The width of the conducting path in the thermal symbol is calculated as

    follows:

     

    · Pads: half the drill diameter of the pad

    · Smds: half the smaller side of the smd

    · at least the width of the polygon

    · a maximum of twice the width of the polygon
