import pic chip from old schematic to current library

Hello All,

 

I am running eagle 4.16r2 on windows xp. Few years ago I designed a circuit

with a pic 18f2680 in it, my computer crashed, had to reload everything, but

i could not save the library file.

 

I do have the schematic with the 18f2680 part in it.

 

is there a way to somehow extract the pic and add to an existing microchip

library or new library somehow?

 

it would save me a ton of work creating a enw component from scratch.

 

appreciate any ideas or suggestions, i am not expert with eagle, still lots

to learn.

    IMHO there is an ULP "exp-project-lbr" that gathers al parts and puts

    them into a new generated lib. From here of course you my copy parts

    into other libs.
