Frame Editing

Hello, I am just starting out and am getting a good feel for the software.  Was very impressed with it, enough to buy it.  The place where I am having problems is defining attributes in the DOC_FIED.  The rev value appears in the lower left corner of the schematic instead of in the REV field where it belongs.  I guess my main question is if there is any good documentation that covers how to really get in and edit/automate the DOC_FIELD?  I see names with the $ inserted in the middle.  I am guessing these are some type of environment variables?  Is there a table or document that defines these and gives a list of all that are available for use?

See the manual in the DOC folder of your installation.

Section 8 Component Design Explained through examples

    Or just search for "frame"

The trick is realising that the frame is made from two symbols, the frame

symbol and the doc field symbol. So  in the library you need to access the

doc field symbol for the device (frame) and make changes to the field
