Eagle error whn opening pre-saved board layout

The last time you saved the schematic file, Eagle made a backup in the

project folder and called it  'your file name.s#1

Rename the corrupted file something else

Then rename the .s#1 file .sch  and open it .

If that works confirm you have retained consistancy with the board file.

If tht does not work well you could try the same with .s#2

Failing that and assumming its a single corruption  it may well be fixable.

Open the schematic file using a text editor that can display the line you

are on.

Go down to line 9992

Look at that line and compare the formatting with nearby lines of type

<WIRE........>

You should see the corruption in the value for 'y1 =     '

Further alone the line, take a note of the LAYER this wire  is on, this

maybe useful later.

Note which section the corruption is in. That will tell you the area you

will need to focus further repairs on once you get the schematic load..

9992 lines into the XML file suggests that it is beyond the library

descriptions which should simplify the repair.

You have to make the y1 value legitimate and save the file. I would then

make  "y1 =0". Make a note of the x1 value,

When you load the schematic your wire will be misplaced and  you will have

to find it and correct it.

If its in a library description you should be able to fix it by performing a

library update. Failing that you will need to delete the part and add it

again.

I'm guessing it will be a net..

The grid should be set to millimeters   and the misplaced wire end will be

at (x=what you noted earlier and y=0)
