I'm playing around with a free copy of Eagle 6.4, My current license is for 5.12 Pro. I'm trying to evaluate if I should upgrade or not. I'm able to open a design I created in version 5.x in version 6.4. DRC, etc run. I'm trying to test out the LTSpice IV integration, but am running into errors.
- Different quantity of SpiceOrder and PINs in symbol C-US of part C1 (C-USC0805). Please check symbol!
- OPEN 'C:/Program Files (x86)/EAGLE-6.4.0/lbr/resistor.lbr'; EDIT C-US.DEV; RUN spiceorder.ulp 'ok1551' 'esc1551'
- If I select 'ok1551' (this name right here looks like a bug') I get the two pins. The help diaglog doesn't tell me enough, "...you must place the text SiceOrder [sic] xx on the coordinate of the pin on the layer 99 SPiceOrder. SpiceOrder is a reserved name xx ist [sic] the number..." Anyone know what I am being asked for?
Should I be able to export an old design using stock Eagle lbr parts? Will new designs work with stock library parts? Anyone know of any examples of going from Eagle to LTSpice, I've found only LTSpice to Eagle examples. Thanks for any help.
