Simple polygon line width question

I draw a polygon with a line width of 10 mils, and fill it for a ground plane.

The line is 20 mils from the edge of the board.

Will the edge of the copper on the fabricated board be 20 mills from the edge of the board (at the CENTER of the line), or 15 mils (at the EDGE of the line)?

 

Thanks for the help.

The answer may be in the manual, but I didn't find it.

    What you see is what you get. What you draw is almost what you get but

    DRC setting will mmake adjustments. I draw the polygon beyond the board

    edge and use the DRC setting to adjust the hole and edger clearance.

    Thanks Paul. I see how that method would also work.

    And I assume that "What you see is what you get." means that, per my question, the copper would be 15 mil from the board edge.

    In 99.9% of the cases the gerbers will matches what you see in the board

    editor. The main reason to view the gerbers is to verify you have the

    correct layers in your cam job.

    A 10 mil wide at 20 mil from edge will be 15 if the DRC setting is less

    then or equal to 15 mil.
