Feature or Bug?

Just finished my first Eagle Project schematic & 2 sided board layout.

The last 2 components added were top & bottom ground planes.

If I close the project, when I open it again the polygons are still there but the ground planes don't show up until I click on Ratsnest again.

Is this behavior....

1 - A feature so I can edit the board before I run the CAM processor?

2 - A Bug?

3 -MUST I re-run Ratsnest before running the CAM processor to get the ground planes into the gerber files?

    Hi Lyle,

     

    This is not a bug, but rather a design decision. You don't have to

    RATSNEST before running the CAM processor, EAGLE will do that internally

    even if you don't.
