drc clearance errors

Noobie to Eagle trying to layout a simple 12V to 5V board for use in a car with spiky power.

I have laid out the circuit ( see links) and imported the DRU from a board manufacturer.

I have checked the Net Classes definitions.

I still get Clearance errors everywhere, even between pads on same footprint.

I have set the grid down to 6mil and looked at the board and the gaps seem to be larger than the spec.

I need help!!!!    Both to fix this problem and to understand what is wrong so I can avoid it in the future.

Thank

Bob Workman

Your net class is faulty. The width, drill, clearance is given in MIL,

in the second part of net class width, drill and clearance matrix is

    given in MM image

Actually I mean the difference between design rules and classes, mm/mil.

    Thanks for the reply

Once I edited the Net Classes to a compatible value 0.1524mm rather than 6mm things worked well.image

    Onward to the next challengeimage
