make breakaway tabs in layout?

I would like to take a 2x2" layout and have it split into two independent boards. Is there a layer I can use to define this (perhaps with breakaway tabs or a scribe line)?

Depending on the preferences of your board manufacturer. Some like
to have it in layer 20, others prefer have this information in a
separate layer.....
