I wonder if it's possible to delete a complete layer that is in use,
in this case it's the CenterDrill 116 layer created by the drill-aid script.

I find it annoying to have to re-select all layers I want
active again,
wondering if there's a faster way...
What a good idea! It would be a nice time saver if we had some more buttons
attached to the Display icon: remember current selected layers being
displayed, restore display of those remembered layers, clear/delete (but
with intent verification!) current selected layers.
