I wonder if it's possible to delete a complete layer that is in use,
in this case it's the CenterDrill 116 layer created by the drill-aid script.

Yeah well
I find it annoying to have to re-select all layers I want active again,
wondering if there's a faster way...
What a good idea! It would be a nice time saver if we had some more buttons attached to the Display icon: remember current
selected layers being displayed, restore display of those remembered layers, clear/delete (but with intent verification!) current
selected layers.
Kind'a like a calculator's 'memory +' and 'memory recall' ....
As I just posted in your request in the suggest group:
Did you try the aliases for the display command?
You can save a certain layer combination under any name (alias).
Now use the right mouse button to select the aliases from the
DISPLAY icon's context menu. There also exists the GRID LAST
function.
