Power Tools, and frames editing questions

autodeskguest
autodeskguest over 17 years ago

I am trying to run Eagle PCB Power Tools, but it asks for a Registration

Code.

I tried the Installation code but it doesn't recognize this.

Also, I bought the Linux version, but the Power tools is a Windows program.

1) How can I get that to run (what code does it want)?

2) I want to make a set of custom frames for schematics with my company logo

added. Where else can I import a picture of logo into the frames?

3) Is there a tutorial for editing frames? They do not seem to have the same

items in them if I open the frames library directly (no filename, authr,

date, etc types of fields missing).

thanks,

Dan

This has nothing to do with the EAGLE installation code. The

Eagle PCB Power Tools are made by one of our customers. For

professional use you have to pay for, but I think it can be used

without a license for testing. Please contact the author

of this tool. I am sure the tool comes with some documentation

    with details.

A log can be added for example with import-bmp.ulp which comes

    with EAGLE.

No, sorry there is no special tutorial.

    thanks,

    Dan

It migth run under wine?  Or cedega?  Or in Win in an emulator.

-If you need it.  (I have not tried.)

There are lots of ULP:s to do lot of things, both the ones that came

with eagle, and also try thoose on cadsoft download site.

Iĺl leave this for someone else.

    Search this forum for "frames"

You will get hits 2008-05-25 and 2008-10-22
