Best way to define a standard BRD SubSection?

Been using Eagle for a while but by no means an expert. And there are probably a few ways to do what I want to do and searching for a solution on the Internet ain't giving me much.

I've got a standard power supply circuit which I use on various boards. At present I import it into each new design as a schematic sheet. So I can import that as sheet one and leave it there. This becomes a drag as although it's there I have to layout all the components of the Power Supply on the Board every time for every new design. I've just decided that I'd save time if I lay that out and bring that into every new design. I was just about to put it into a Library as a new device when I wondered is that even the right way to solve that problem? I probably could not even put it in a library as I'd be pulling in standard diodes and capacitors and other components which is not what the library does.

Hmm best solution?

in the schematic editor go to

this will let you import a schematic+board pair into the open one

    Sorry Lorenz,

in the Schematic editor go to what ????

I've had a look around and I'm using the menu "File -> Import -> Eagle Drawing" That's allowing me to pull in another schematic as a sheet but not the brd file so I have to re layout everything again.

this will also import the layout into the board editor (at least my

    Eagle 6.x does so)

Lorenz thanks a million you're correct. I was starting a new design and first step was importing the power supply which brought in the schematic. Because I had not created any Brd file as yet the power supply Brd file was not Imported. So before I import the power supply I have to create the brd file and then it works. Yes maybe I should have thought of that but never really though of the order of things. Thanks again for your invaluable help.
