Hi,
I daily work with eagle and there are some problems which keep coming back.
If i have a PCB with a ground plane filled all over, there are sometimes
places where the groundplane should not fill.
You can use Restrict lines to keep the polygon from filling an aerea, but if
there are GND connections and GND wires it is impossible to draw a restrict
wire around all the GND nets which the polygon fills from.

It is a dual sided board with some print inductors which are made as
package. The left side of them is connected to ground. For there usage in
this application they should be surrounded by as little copper as the
function needs.
eagle1: ground plane on bottem side, top side deleted for the image. I have
drawn a brestrict to keep the polygon from filling up.
eagle2: the ground plane did not fill up as i wanted. The brestrict does
not go over the 3 wires on top cause this generates unwanted DRC errors.
eagle3: when i draw a gnd plane on the top it fills.
ealge4: I drew a polygon with trestrict. wich works for the purpose. But
generates lots of DRC errors...
ealge5: It works...
ealge 6: 3000 DRC errors.... I think it is bad practice to approve them all.
The change that a error wich is a error will slip through is likely when you
have to click 3000 times.
Does anyone have a decent solution?
maybe some new restrict layers?
or when you place a polygon with the same net in another polygon, it
recognizes this as an internal border?
