My company now blocks all ftp sites as "Unsafe". How can I download the latest version of Eagle? Other sites?
You could probably download it outside and take the file in on a flash
drive, however, if they have decided to block all ftp access, then that is
probably also prohibited. Assuming you have a legitimate need for it in
the company, I would either go direct to the IT folks and ask how to work
it or have your management work the problem. Trying to bypass whatever
rules the company security folks have decided on without getting permission
can have unpleasant consequences.
