Licensing for larger boards

Greetings,

 

I have a relatively simple project that I can layout in two layers and have been trying the free version of EAGLE. So far, I like EAGLE. However, I need to place two LCD displays side by side which means the board needs to be about 190 mm wide. Is there a way to complete this design without buying the professional version of EAGLE? It seems that none of the options for low-cost licensing (even freemium) will allow me to exceed this limit, and this hobby project cannot support the cost of a professional license.

    Your physical board can be larger but all of the parts pads must stay within the limits of your license. I do this all the time so I can mount the PBCs in cases I use.

     

    I Do wish that they would license based on the square area and let you set the pad rectangle. Many times ave needed a longer but narrower layout area than the license allowed.
