I just bought the Hobbyist edition of Eagle to create a board for a MIDI controller I'm working on. I made sure the standard edition routable area limitations (160mm x 100mm) were sufficient for my design before purchasing, but it's not working out exactly how I expected.
The board will have four PCB-mount linear potentiometers, which are 128mm long (outer dimensions). I want them to be mounted vertically, so I would need my board to be 100mm x 160mm (portrait). But it only will allow me to place these linear pots horizontally, not vertically. Apparently they are too tall, and I can't find a way to redefine the allowable board area to be in a portrait orientation rather than a landscape orientation.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter, I can design the board sideways, it's just a little awkward and weird.
Is there at least a "rotate viewport" command, so i can look at the board in the correct orientation while designing it? I can't seem to find anything in the documentation.
Ultimately, it would be very nice to be able to select a different routable area shape within the same square millimeter limitation.
