Is it possible to create a custom library from all the parts you use in a design?

I have been using different parts from different libraries and now want to bring all of them into a single library.

1) Is it possible to do this automatically so I do not have to copy every single part?

2) Is it possible to automatically point all the components in the schematic actually draw from the new custom library?

thanks very much!

    there was a tread a short time back about this topisc.

    In short, you use the exp-project-lbr.ulp (perhaps in the version that

    allows to restrict the export to the used packages, see the cadsoft

    download area for that) to create one library pre original library.

    you will need to rename the created libraries.

    then use the update command.

    Thanks.  I downloaded the ULP and ran it.

    1) It created 2 .scr files in my project directory and also a new custom library which has all the parts as expected except that it brought all the resistors and packages from a library that I originally used.  Why didn't it only give me the 0603 one that I exclusively used in the design

    2) Should I run the .scr files and why were they generated?  I noticed if I exit and enter the design again, the .scr files disappear.

    3) Fianlly, it did NOT update the library name in my schematic parts.  It still points to the old libraries???  I even did a use the new library and clicked update all without success.  Still points to the old library.

    What am I doing wrong?

    thanks!

    Just noticed this comment from above and I did not do this before using new library.  Is this required?

    OK, I think I figured it out.  You need to run update with the following parameters to actually populate the new library parts into the schematics.

    UPDATE old_library_name = new_library_name;
