This is a pretty minor problem, but it's been bugging me for ages.
When I first installed Eagle, selecting File>Open>Schematic would open a dialog box with my ~/ Documents/eagle folder opened by default. Likewise, editing or using library files would default to my library folder.
For some reason, now every dialog box that opens opens to the /Documents folder. This is majorly annoying as I have to navigate to the /Applications/Eagle-6.5.0/lib folder any time I want to add a library to a project.
Here's what I've tried so far to resolve the problem:
I checked my Options>Directories and verified that they were all set right. Originally $EAGLEDIR somehow got set to nothing, so I updated my .bash_profile to point it to my install directory. This still didn't fix the problem.
I tried uninstalling (deleting the program file) and installing a fresh copy of Eagle from a download, but it didn't fix the problem.
I uninstalled again and deleted the OSX install receipt, but still no change.
I know this problem seems minor, but it's super frustrating because I remember that it used to work! Please help!
Thanks.
