Edit NET list directly?

Hello,

 

In order to get my via connected to Planes, I had to rename them... however, I mistakenly named 2 vias the *wrong* plane name... and when I attempt to re-rename it to correct it, it renames the entire NET !!! When I attempt to delete the via, it is directing me to the schematic, and there are no vias on the schematic...

 

I deleted the Plane, but the 2 vias are still linked to the wrong NET...

 

 

Simplist way should be to edit the NET directly, but I don't see anyway to invoke a NET Editor if one exists...

 

I would prefer *not* to use a backup which is several hours old and loose all this work since the last backup.

 

Suggestions?

    If you are using EAGLE 6, you can use a text editor to edit the board file directly...

    Another thought...you might be able to use the ripup command to remove the via...

    Use RIPUP on the vias.

     

    The backups that eagle makes should not be hours old. It will backup every

    few minutes depending on the settings you have auto backup configured for

    and more often each time you save the editor.
