How can I change the units in the wire width field?

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

The wire (track) width is currently shown in inches. How can I change this to mils? BTW: is there a place where I can view and/or change board properties?

Regards,

Stefaan Claes

Thanks a lot for your quick reply. :-)

The command 'grid mil' changed the units in the wire width field. I find it a bit strange... :-/

I didn't expect this because I'm not changing the grid.

    Regards,

    Stefaan Claes

    From the help:

The GRID command is used to specify the grid and the current unit

    Best regards!

the GRID command is used to change the unit setting for the whole UI.

This avoids confusion with diffent units in different places.

If you sometimes want to use a differing unit you can add the unit

after the value in the input field or command line.

BTW: is there a place where I can view and/or change board

    properties?

what board properties? Dimensions, thickness, layer stack, ...?
