I see the need for a separate installation of Eagle 4.1 when moving to Eagle
5.x, since there is additional data stored in v5.x files that will be
updated when an older v4.1 project is loaded into v5.x, and since where the
projects get saved was moved to the logged in computer user's document
folder (so other users of the same computer can not see those files). But,
as long as library and project files are first backed up, is it really
necessary to install each v5.x program update to its own folder or is it
safe to overwrite any existing v5.x installation?
