What is the proper way to import new library changes in a design? I thought
the Library menu and the Update or Update All command would do it...
In Eagle 5.4.0 I have a schematic/board and I decided I wanted to change a
footprint after the part was placed in the schematic.
I edited the part footprint in the library and saved it, then I tried to use
the Library/Update command to refresh the design with the new footprint and
it didn't import the new footprint.
For one part, I decided to just place a new one and delete the existing one
out of the schematic to get the latest footprint in, and then it finally
noticed the schematic contained a version that needed to be updated so it
finally imported it.
But this didn't work for another part I wanted to revise, so I can't get
consistent results.
