Increase space between polygon and traces in v6.5

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

Greetings,

I'd like to keep a solid polygon further from my ckt board traces because I'm having to use two layers (per side) of overhead view-graph sheeting printed on by a laser printer. (one layer is a bit thin). Although the little HP1102 printer is really excellent, the printouts have some, almost random minor stretching, requiring very careful registration of "drillaid" holes. It's possible for parallel traces to become a couple of mils misaligned, so that the polygon ULP fills in a long sliver of wedge which can lead to inadequate/clearance etch.

I've tried all the permutations of toolbar spacing/line thickness/ etc, with all polygons showing the same tight spacing next to the traces, and I can't seem to get v6.5 to actually drop the orphan bits of polygon.

Can any set me straight as what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,
