Eagle libraries for LM2575 switching regulator and IN5818 catch diode

Hi all,

 

I've searched up and down for the Eagle library files for the LM2575 switching regulator from TI. See http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/lm1575.pdf.

 

In addition I kindly need help with files for the IN5818 catch diode from Fairchild semiconductors. See http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1671052.pdf.

 

Essentially I need both files as I'm moving away from using the classic LM7805 linear voltage regulator due to heat dissipation problems and I need to use the LM2575 switching regulator.

 

Any ideas regarding where I could download the files for both components?

 

Any help is appreciated. as I've been stuck for some days.

    For the diode look in diode.lbr

     

    Searching the forum you would have noted that in the time it takes to be

    provided, or not, with a library you could have upskilled and built your

    own.

     

    For every library you aquire you need to check that it is accurate. Then

    you add it to your personal library. Those are the only ones you can trust.

    Hence you need library creation skills to perform  that check.

    I seems to have found a source with the LM2575 library. I've added it but with regrads to the PCB layout I need to work more on it if it is accurate but so far it looks good. See this link - LM2575 oder TO263-S Package für Eagle gesucht - Mikrocontroller.net

     

    Search for the v-reg-3.lbr on the page:

     

    It also contains updates as follows:

    • integrated library "ltc_swr.lbr" with switching regulators from Linear Technology, created by Claudius Stern
    • added step-down switching regulator LT1767
    • combined identical symbols for positive regulators
    • added packages SO8 and SOT89 for 78Lxx and 79Lxx
    • added package SO8 for LM317L and LM337L
    • added linear regulators L4931, L4949E, LM2931
    • added micropower, ultra-low dropout family LP298x
    • added ultra-low dropout regulators IRU1205, TK112, TK113
    • added low power, low dropout regulator family S-812
    • added NPN "Simple Switcher"(c) family LM257x

    • added NPN Darlington switching regulator MC34063A
    • added LED boost drivers PR4401, PR4402, PR4403
