Change package in one place and then update librarys where it is used.

Question

Hi.

I remember that I saw someone with a solution that you could change the PCB package in one "global" package library and then it got updated to all of your librarys where it was used.

For example if I got a SOT-23 package in four different librarys (transistors, diodes, linear regulators and sensors) then I would like to change the SOT-23 package in one place and then it got updated (with an ULP?) to the librarys where it s used.

Anyone know how to do this?

You can change/copy your own package in the ref-packages.lbr, and then

load libraries and UPDATE with ref-packages.lbr.

HELP UPDATE

The problem is, any manufacturer make different measure at the same

package (SOT23, SOT89, QFPxx... on the data sheet).
