My old Shuttle is about to give up the ghost, so I'm looking to buy a new PC, however I'd like to hear some suggestions as to the type/make/speed etc of graphics card I should favour. Can anyone help?

I think any halfway decent card would work. I run an AMD 'Caicos' 6450 card
(Sapphire FleX 100322) in my Gentoo Linux-based Shuttle, using the open-
source drivers. It's fanless and quiet, and supports three 1920x1200
monitors. Drop-dead simple setup with KDE. It's nice to have two full
monitors for Eagle so you can see both the schematic and board at the same
time full-screen. I use the third for viewing datasheets.
Many thanks for that. Looking at the spec, its seems perfect especially the 3 monitor support.
Now its just a case of building the rest of the machine!
