clicking route outside fill boundary used to confirm routing

In EAGLE versions befor 5 a mouse click could reach any object in the

drawing. Even such objects that were outside the currently visible

drawing window. So we decided - based on user requests - to introduce

a new option that limits the mouse radius. This is the so-called

catch factor which is available in Options/Set/Misc. Set it to 100

and the whole visible screen is "availlable" by a mouse click. Set it

to 0 and you will have the same behaviour as it was in EAGLE 4.1.

Default is 5% of the current window height.

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but I offer it as my own

alternative solution.

What I've done has been to set unrouted nets to a highly visible color

that contrasts very well with everything else on the board, and then

frequently click on the Ratsnest button to make sure they stay visible.

Eagle is a tolerably decent program, but I'm dissuaded from paying for

any kind of license because of the lack of response to user requests by

Cadsoft.
