Is the V7 License Promotion limited to purchases through Stratford Digital?

I purchased my own license (personal) through Stratford Digital and

So I feel a little bad about asking but is the license promotion

Reason to ask is my company needs to purchase a license and we have

Newark setup as a supplier which really streamlines the ordering

process

and saves $ apparently.

It's a big company and not easy to get a new supplier setup for a

one-time purchase.

Thanks for the kind words about our service--we do strive to make sure

every customer has a good experience.

To answer your question, the promotion we are running is not limited to

us--it is offered through CadSoft directly.  However, how each distributor

is free to offer it or not.  And there seems to be some difference between

how CadSoft in the USA (who process our licences) and how other countries

are handling it.

It was unclear when the promotion started, but it seems to be clear now

that there will be some follow up support required to take advantage of the

offer when v7 is released.  I can guarantee you'll get the best support

possible from us.  I'll leave it to you to try to estimate what sort of

support you'll get at that time from other suppliers.

As for your particular solution, we could take a personal credit card and

then you could expense it--that might work.  I know I have done that in

previous jobs when I needed something and it became impossible to get

through the paperwork.  But I understand each job is different.

For anyone else, if you upgrade your current license or purchase a v6

license now (before v7 is released) you will get a free upgrade to a v7

license.  The second v7 beta was just released so time is running out on

this promotion, though we don't have any firm date.

and/or put in an order through us.  Please note that we are only authorized

to sell to North America (we will simply refund your purchase if you are

outside of North America unless there is a very good reason why you can't

use your local distributor--and that has to be blessed by CadSoft).
