V7 - Mac os add symbol not following cursor

Former Member
Former Member over 11 years ago

When using the add symbol function, add any component and it stops at the cursor location after the "ok".  The actual add works if you click the mouse but that causes 100% move use after that.

System

Mac OS 10.9.4

Dual quad core xenon

20GB ram

NVIDIA Quadro video card

Version 6 was working so this is a big step backward for me.

Tried old/new icons, no change.

Thanks,

Ok.  Having looked around some more, it seems this is reported in prior versions and may be related to Mavericks.  That means it should have been mentioned in release notes for 7.0.0.  That is a pretty big problem.  How do we determine if it is being addressed?  I am still evaluating.

    Hello Duncan,

I hope you're doing well. This is related to our third party GUI

libraries. I don't believe they are supporting Mavericks yet and they

haven't been able to give us an estimate of when it will be fixed.

Additionally, not all Mavericks users are experiencing this issue which

    makes it even weirder.

Once it's fixed we'll put a note in the release notes.

    hth,

    Jorge Garcia

Thanks for responding Jorge.  One note, I have a high-end NVIDIA card and that may be part of it.  You may want to collect some case data for the GUI company.  I am happy to help where I can.
