Install 6.3.0 fails on OS X mavericks

The dialogs complete but there is only an empty folder Eagle-6.3.0

I previously had 7.0 installed that folder still contains the folder hierarchy but not the application

Hi,

did you already manage to get EAGLE 6.3 installed again.
Please delete all newer installations of EAGLE and then start the EAGLE installation again. EAGLE version 6 archives are available at ftp://ftp.cadsoft.de/eagle/program

No I gave up on the idea.The intention was to follow the tutorials in a book by Simon Monk. That's based on V6.3.0

So far using V7.1, I haven't had any issues that I can put down to the version.

The online tutorials on the elements14 look a bit dated to me!

Hi Gordon,

the tutorials are not the newest ones, that's true. But they are basically correct, also for the newer EAGLE versions.
