EAGLE.key

Question

I have a licenced version of Eagle7 and have been trying to install it on a Mac OS X 10.9.4.

On startup, the EAGLE License dialog opens and asks for the .key file and Install code.

There is an error dialog -- Can't open /.../EAGLE.key permission denied. It shows this error regardless of the .key file selected.

There is no way to change the permissions on EAGLE.key (dialog greyed out)

EAGLE.key is zero bytes. My licence file 987979797.key is 3kb. This error means I cannot proceed.

Any help appreciated ! !

Hello, just confirming that this bus is still present on 10.9.4 with the latest OS X installer. The reason is incorrect groups permissions on the EAGLE.key file under 'bin'. The group 'admin' has no write permissions to the file. 
 sudo chmod g+w EAGLE.key
