Moving components from one sch sheet to another

autodeskguest
autodeskguest over 16 years ago

I want to move (not cut and paste) components with named wire stubs

attached to them from sheet one to sheet two of the schematic editor.

The names of the net stubs shall not change!

I don't know how.

Anybody can suggest a solution?

Thanks

Paolo

Select the objects you want to move with GROUP, then MOVE and

Ctrl+right mouse click. The group follows the mouse now.

Click onto the preview of the "target" sheet, EAGLE switches

to this one, now place the group.

I am using Eagle 4.16: no sheet preview. Clicking on the sheet number

releases the object, so no move to the target sheet...

    Is there a way out?

    Hi,

Group select the parts in the sheet. Click the CUT item in the Edit

menu. And then left click in the current sheet for defining a reference

point ( if you don't do this, the selection will be ignored ). Go to the

required sheet and click past item in the Edit menu. Now you can see the

selected group in the current sheet. Click left mouse button when the

mouse is over the place where you want it to be placed.

    firat,
