I have made a design in ver 7.1, but am not able to export it to gerber files. All the availabe tutorials do not work, as the CAM prosessor is changed in ver 7, does anyone have any ideas ?

Best regards

Allan

    Hello Allan,

I hope you're doing well. Here's the simplest procedure for generating

CAM files, assuming you're going to use the CAM jobs that ship with

EAGLE and that these have not been modified.

    1. In the board editor click on the CAM processor icon.

    2. In the CAM processor window click File>Open>Job...

    3. If you're making a two layer board with components on top only use

gerb274x.cam. Otherwise, as long as your board is four layers or less

use the gerb274x-4layer.cam file. Double click on the CAM job to open it.

    4. Once the CAM job is open, click on the Process job icon on the bottom

    right.

    5. All of the geber files will be in the same location as your board and

    schematic.

    6. To generate the drill file, repeat step 2.

    7. Now double-click on excellon.cam to open it.

    8. Click process job again.

    9. You'll find the drill files together with your gerbers.

    hth,

    Jorge Garcia

For what it's worth I'm having the same problem as Allan stated. The manual doesn't offer a solution and the tutorail I have seen don't address any problems but shos how as long as everything works.
