Newsreader Access

I'd like to use a newsreader, Agent, to access the forums here. What do I

need to designate as the server address?

news://news.cadsoft.de/eagle.support.eng does not work for me. I get a

server not responding error. Also none of these other variations work:

news://news.cadsoft.de , news.cadsoft.de, etc. Thanks.

    I use Free Agent, version 1.21/32 ((c)1999) to access this group, and

    it works fine if I set the News Server (in General Preferences) to:

     

      news.cadsoft.de

     

    I don't think the news:// prefix is necessary because Agent already

    knows this is a news:// protocol.  Make sure you uncheck "Server

    Requires Authorization Login" in the "User" tab.

    news.cadsoft.de got it working. I had tried that earlier with no luck.

    Tried it again, and works good. Again, thanks for the help.
