Eagle upgrade from 7.1.0 to 7.2.0???

Question

I just downloaded 7.2. I have 7.1 and it's license doesn't seem to work with 7.2. Is that possible? Do I have to get a new license every time I update the software?

Hi,

you initially got a link from where to download your license data. It was a license file named "serialnumber".key and there was shown your personal installation code consisting of ten lower case letters.

A short time after your download the file your license data had been purged from our server for security reasons.

What we recommend for later installations is to save the installation code and the license file at a save place. So can use it at any time for example for a new installation. If you purchased a license for V7 it will be valid for all 7.x releases.

Do you still have this data available?

If not, please send an email to CadSoft and ask for license data....

Hi,

if your license is valid for 7.1.0 then it also valid for 7.1.x and 7.2.x and the following 7.x.x versions.

Are you sure that license file and instalaltoncode fit together? Are they for version 7 or maybe the license file

or the installation code comes from an older version 6.x or maybe 7.0? From 7.0 to 7.1 there was a change with the license management ....
