I have a drill hole I can't select or delete, even after deleting everything else.

I made a copy of my file and deleted every singe object and yet it remains. I opened up the .brd and .sch files in an editor and I think this may be the problem in both files:

<classes>

<class number="0" name="default" width="0" drill="0">

</class>

</classes>

Can I just delete the middle two lines using a text editor?

Thanks!

    that can't be the reason for your problem. This class definition is

    the default if you don't have any classes defined by yourself.

    It's present in any brd/sch I ever looked into.

    Can you post your files to the newsgroup (or the forum), so that other

    can have look at it?

    I figured it out. What I though was a hole, was a DRC Drill distance warning symbol. Even when I deleted the part, the error symbol persisted. I didn't think to re-run the DRC or close and re-open.

    The error was caused by this:

    <package name="LCDDISPLAY5110">

    <pad name="DIN" x="3.302" y="23.495" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="CLK" x="3.302" y="20.955" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="DC" x="3.302" y="26.035" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="VCC" x="3.302" y="18.415" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="BL" x="3.302" y="15.875" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="GND" x="3.302" y="13.335" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="CE" x="3.302" y="28.575" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <pad name="RST" x="3.302" y="31.115" drill="0.8" shape="long"/>

    <wire x1="0" y1="0" x2="45.339" y2="0" width="0.127" layer="21"/>

    <wire x1="45.339" y1="0" x2="45.339" y2="42.7228" width="0.127" layer="21"/>

    <wire x1="45.339" y1="42.7228" x2="0" y2="42.7228" width="0.127" layer="21"/>

    <wire x1="0" y1="42.7228" x2="0" y2="0" width="0.127" layer="21"/>

    <hole x="2.5019" y="4.1275" drill="3.175"/>

    <hole x="42.9133" y="4.1275" drill="3.175"/>

    <hole x="2.5019" y="38.6969" drill="3.175"/>

    <hole x="42.9133" y="4.1275" drill="3.175"/>

    <hole x="42.9133" y="38.6969" drill="3.175"/>

    </package>

    Note the two identical holes. I don't know how this happened. I checked the part and it looks fine. Deleting the part and inserting a new one fixes the problem.

    Thank you for your time.
