Linux version of Eagle

Hi Guys

 

I run Ubuntu AMD64, up until now the 32bit compatibility

allows Eagle to run very nicely.

I've upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04 which is due for release in 2 days time.

I'm finding that the 32 bit compatibility of 9.04 is not so good and

Eagle is failing to run looking for liXrender.

There is a possibility that its something that has crept in pre-release.

But are there any plans to produce a native AMD 64 bit version. ???.

    Which EAGLE version did you try?

    Since 5.2.0 EAGLE does not use libXrender anymore.

    It was Eagle-5.5.0 Richard, very strange ??

    I'll see if I still have the install files for 5.2, and 5,3.

    And see if the same happens.
