Eagle: assigning 2 names to one net

Former Member
Former Member over 10 years ago

I have a schematic where I've created and named a net for each pin on a controller.  I now want to tie one of those pins ("enable") to ground, but I don't want the name of the net to change to "GND", it needs to stay "enable".

Can you please tell me how to assign two names into one net? (without putting a 0R resistor between the two :-) )

Thanks,

There is no reason to expose pin names as net names.  Pins have names

that appear on the schematic, but they are separate from the name of

the net they connect to.  If you are using net names in this fashion,

don't do it.  It will only lead to more trouble if you persist.
