Hi,
I am trying to copy one schematic to another in Eagle. I try to follow a few videos and they say to use the (Scissor tool) to cut the grouping, but my version doesn't show this Icon?

Hi Sean,
I hope you're doing well. In newer versions (6 forward) the
functionality of the scissor command has been incorporated into Copy.
Use the copy command to achieve what you want.
Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

If I copy components from another schematic. Do they also have to be in a library file or do i have to add them to a library?
regards

Hi Sean,
The copy between schematics does not require you to first place those
components in a library. All of the necessary information about a part
is stored in the schematic, so the copy should work just fine.
