Signal labels not showing up in bus

lesnoel
lesnoel over 10 years ago

Seems if I have too many signals in my bus I can't see all of them if the height of the bus signal list display exceeds my screen height.. It tries to make another column on the right, but the signal selection labels are blank. If I click one of the blank areas to select a signal it works, I just can't see what I have selected.... odd.  This is happening with  version 7.2 and 7.1. Will reboot my PC to see if Windows issue..

You are correct, there is an issue with v7.1 (Win 7)

I was using a bus name of ATBUS:A[0..31],B[0..64],RESET,CLOCK,IOSEL[0..1]

The issuie shows up with the B[0..64]

I did not try v7.2 but can confirm there is no problem with v6.6

    Hopefully Cadsoft will repair this.

    Hi,

I don't see this problem with 6.6.0 and 7.x.  Please see attached screenshot.

    Hi,

Here is a screen shot of the issue I"m seeing. I do not have any bus arrays (D[0..64] in my schematic.

If the image can be seen at full resolution you can see the shadowed divider line .. but the labels to the right of it

are not visible. They are there, and if I select one it works just fine.. is only I can't see the label. I have attached

a copy of my incomplete .sch file if that will help. Thanks.

    Hi,

yes I see, and I can reproduce the problem in Windows 7 with EAGLE 7.2.0. My first try was with Linux and there it works perfectly as seen in my screenshot. Currently we are on the way to a next minor release 7.3. I think we will haved solved this problem then.

    Regards,

    Richard

    FYI

On two different Win7 PC's, I found one has the problem, another does not.
