Holes with zero width aperture

I've seen comments from others about the annoyance of this but no real

answer from CADsoft.

Why does Eagle 5.6.0 produce a 0.000in aperture for hole outlines using

GERBER_RS274X when it's illegal in a RS274X file?

I can edit the files manually but with a multi-layer SM board it's a lot of

extra work.  Just make it 0.001!

    The lines in the Dimension layer define the physical edges

    of the board, and as such have no width.

     

    Why do you enable the Dimension layer when producing Gerber

    data in the first place?
