Eagle upgrade path from 3.55

This will sound terrible, but I am still using Eagle 3.55 for many of my designs, and have been pretty happy with the things I have been able to accomplish in it. For many years I have been meaning to upgrade, and finally this summer I want to upgrade to the latest Eagle, but I am not certain how best to bring my existing work forward. Is there a way to import my files from 3.55 to 7? I have hundreds of designs that I want to import so that I can continue to use upgrade them.

    Hi Aaron,

     

    It doesn't sound terrible at all. Your files will open just fine under

    V7, there's no special procedure to follow. Occasionally, if there are

    any imperfections in the file then EAGLE might choke on the conversion,

    but these errors are usually minor and easily fixed.
