best OOP language for embedded systems

Good day to everyone,

I am into designing of digital electronic circuits using PIC micro-controller with C language.Please,i really want to know the best object oriented programming language which can be used to develop applications which can work with my circuits.Many people told me C# is the best but am not convinced,so i decided to ask you all for your advice.Thanks so much.

    Wrong forum. This is for support on a PCB design tool.

     

     

    (and when you find the right forum, write your question more clearly,

    because the answer currently is either "none" or "any you like"

    depending on how it's read)

    I would say it's a matter of personal preference to some degree. What language(s) are you comfortable with?

    I would stay away from OOP when writing code for embedded systems.  OOP often uses memory in unexpected ways and when you have limited memory (as in most embedded systems) you're much better off knowing exactly how it's being used, at least IMO.  C is a great language for embedded systems because in many ways it's a portable assembly language that happens to use high-level language syntax.  So you get full control over program behavior while still having code that's readable and maintainable.

    It's also perfectly possible to write object oriented code in C. No need for C++ or, even worse, C#...
