Layer 2 (GND) used but not enabled!

Dialog with the following message is presented during autoroute.

 

Layer 2 (GND) used but not enabled!

 

Objects therein may collide with vias placed by the autorouter.

 

Do you wish to run the autorouter anyway?

 

Layer 2 was initially a supply layer. However, the layer has been changed to

a normal layer and a polygon placed on layer 2. The polygon is named GND

and is visible, but the autorouter will not place vias down and connect to

the polygon. How do I enable the layer. I'm unable to change back to a

supply layer as there are a couple of signals routed on the layer.

  • Yep. Supply layer changes layer to N/A I suppose. The change back to signal

    layer doesn't revert that setting. Should have seen that one.
