hole shape and size

Is there a way to make a rectangluar hole?

 

I also found out that EAGLE have a max drill size of hole, 33.1mm. I have to

create a circle in the documentation layer and notify board house as a hole

when I need a 33.5mm hole. Does anyone have a better way?

 

 

 

 

  • To create a rectangular hole, you may create a shape on either the

    Dimension or Milling layers.

     

    Same goes for a hole larger than the limit - create a circle shape on

    either Dimension or Milling layers.

     

    Whichever layer you chose in either case, be sure it is exported in

    gerber. It's always good to leave comments with your board when given to

    a fab house - the more they know, the less chance of a

    misunderstanding!- ted
